Charlotte and Cecelia are 1! I've already had the pleasure of photographing these adorable sisters a few times, but this was definitely the most fun. Their mom, Jenny, sent me a couple photos of the outfits they'd be wearing and I came up with the backdrops based on that. I'm a big fan of skirts made of fabric strips (check out the one I made for my daughter here!) I've spent a lot of time looking at fabric, so I knew exactly where to find the same fabric they used! While I was picking it up, I ran across the pretty pink fabric I used for their pink/black outfits! The outfits and accessories that Jenny put together were so perfect :)
I loved watching the girls dig into their smash cakes. Apparently Charlotte was less than excited about the previous 2 cakes that she's had at her other birthday celebrations, but she happily put her hand into the cake first! By the time they were finished, there was cake and frosting everywhere. Not so fun for their dad to clean up, but so cute to photograph!

I love this photo. It's like she's telling us she's one! I really thought that I had missed it, so glad I didn't!

I love how they mirrored the position of their legs when they sat down! So twin-tastic :)
