Amelia is ONE! And I had the pleasure of taking her first birthday portraits :) She is such a little sweetheart, and those big brown eyes just push her cuteness to the next level. Add in the fantastic outfits that her mom put togethe and it's almost too much! Happy first birthday Amelia, I've enjoyed watching you grow this past year! I've had several people from back home in Ohio say that they want to get together with me for photos while I'm in town, so I was more than happy to offer a few sessions during my recent trip. I've watched Amber's little monster Dakota grow up through Facebook, and seen her posting about her nephew Blayne for even longer. It was really nice to get to meet them! Dakota and my daughter are only a couple months apart in age, so it was cute to watch them run around together for a bit. They were all a bit distracted by being outside in the warm weather, as well as having various critters around to look at, but I still managed to get some cute shots :)

Happy Spring!

Exactly one week ago it was 73 degrees and I was taking photos of my little girl for Easter. Today it was in the 20s and we got about 6 inches of snow! That's what living in the midwest is all about I suppose...a roller coaster of temperatures and weather! I truly didn't think I'd be taking photos in the snow anymore this season. More wishful thinking than anything, especially since we had snow in May last year lol. Ah well, at least I was able to get this adorable photo of Lyla looking up at the "mow" as she calls it :)

Here's hoping for warmer temps, spring flowers, and green grass! I'm ready to start booking outdoor sessions!
