FABRIC BACKDROPS
Love the look of my styled setups but don't want to invest the time and money into all of the props? Well you're in luck! I design backdrops for a company called Kate Backdrop. Their backdrops are a non-stretchy microfiber material. The color is very rich and true-to-life. They can wrinkle if stored carelessly, but the wrinkles easily come out if you throw the drop in the dryer for 15 minutes with a wet towel! So simple. And the best part is that they are very affordable! That is what lead me to this company in the first place :) Some of the designs were created for clients and others were created just for Kate Backdrop. I add new designs fairly regularly so check back! You can also join their Facebook group to see lots of in-use photos - https://www.facebook.com/groups/Katebackdrops
DIGITAL BACKDROPS
Digital backdrops are a fun way to add some variety to your client's gallery! Often it's much cheaper to buy a digital backdrop than to buy all of the props it would take to create it on your own. There are tons of tutorials on how to use digital backdrops available on YouTube. I highly recommend watching some before purchasing a backdrop if it is your first time. One of the most important things is to plan ahead for the backdrop by setting up the lighting to come from the same direction. You should also plan on using something behind or under the baby that can be easily blended with the digital design.
