SESSIONS
Outdoor sessions are booked on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Saturday evenings fill up fast, so plan to book early. Studio sessions are more flexible since they don't rely on evening sun or weather. A non-refundable retainer fee is required at the time you schedule your session to lock in your date and time. Please do not be late to your photo sessions as many times I will have other clients either before or after your scheduled time. Try to arrive 10 minutes early if you can so that you can get comfortable and we can start on time. If you are late to your session, I will do the best I can in the time that you have remaining.
TRAVELING
For personal reasons I no longer travel to areas that aren't already on my list of locations, and I do not travel to client's homes.

CANCELLATION / RESCHEDULING
Bad weather is something we just can't predict. In case of rain, we will work together to reschedule your shoot as soon as possible. Sometimes situations beyond your control may force you to have to reschedule your shoot. Please let me know as soon as possible and I will do my best to accommodate you. Also, a healthy child is a happy child. Please contact me at least 24-48 hours in advance if your child is sick and you won't be able to attend your session so we can reschedule. I fully understand that sometimes you just don't know until right before your session, and that's ok too. Thank you for helping to keep my family healthy too! Due to the amount of setup involved, most styled mini sessions cannot be rescheduled by clients, but they my be sold or transferred to someone else.
ONLINE GALLERY
Once your gallery is finished your images will be available to download for 7 days. At the end of the 7 days the images are automatically deleted from the gallery. You must also download the images and save them to your computer before the gallery expires as the link to download them expires with the gallery. A $10, non-refundable, re-posting fee will apply to galleries that must be re-uploaded after the 7 day period.
ALTERING IMAGES
Mandy Ringe Photography retains the legal copyright to the files of any images taken during your sessions. Copying or scanning images that have not been purchased from your proofing gallery, the website, the blog, or from printed materials is considered stealing, no matter how you plan to use them. Clients may not alter their images in any way, including changing the colors for Instagram/Facebook/etc by adding filters. You paid me to take and edit your photos for a reason, please don't insult my work by altering my final product.
IMAGE FILE ARCHIVES
Image files are kept for at least 90 days to allow ample time to download your images and purchase any prints. While I may store files for longer, it's not guaranteed. Please back up your files as soon as possible. Dropbox, Google Drive, or other Cloud storage services are great places to keep your files. Many services allow you to access your photos from anywhere so long as you can log into the service. Digital files are fragile (computer crashes, accidental deletion, damaged disks). The best way to preserve your memories is with prints. Though places like Walgreens and Costco provide prints cheaply and quickly, the colors and quality are nowhere near what you would get from a professional lab. After investing in your photoshoot, why not invest in archival-quality prints that will last your lifetime? If you do plan to print your photos yourself instead of through my lab, please consider using Mpix.com (a consumer-level but quality lab) for your printing needs.
RECEIVING YOUR PRINTS
You have the option to purchase prints through your online gallery. Your final prints are drop-shipped directly to your home from the professional lab I use. If they are damaged in any way during transit, please do not hesitate to reach out to me so that I can reach out to the company to replace the damaged items - I do not get to inspect them before you get them. If you are unable to take delivery of your prints at your home, reach out before placing your order and I can arrange to have the photos sent to my studio for you to pick up.
