I used to work in the same store as Joe, but it was really nice to meet his wife and son during our session! Blake is such a happy baby and was pretty easily amused by my antics :) Mary wanted to incorporate a barn into their session, so I suggested Leroy Oaks here in St Charles. They have two beautiful barns that made the perfect backdrops.

Laurie is an aspiring model who was referred to me by a mutual friend. We both wanted photos for our portfolios, so it worked out great! We got together for a shoot on a day that ended up being a lot cooler than it looks in the photos! Laurie was a great sport though, even though I know she was freezing in that dress!

My former bakery coworker and current photographer friend Kelsey accompanied me on several of my first photo shoots. It was nice having her along as I began to work with clients for the first time. After one of our shoots together she asked if I could take some photos for her to potentially use on her website. We photographers spend so much time behind the camera that it can be difficult to set aside time for updated portraits. Glad I was able to help her out while building up my own portfolio in the process :)
