I had heard about about St. James Farm in Wheaton and decided to go check it out. My daughter is pretty tired of being my model, so I put a call out on Facebook that the first person that wanted to meet me out there that afternoon would get a free photoshoot while I explored :) I was excited when I got a response from someone with twins, so fun! Charlotte and Cecilia are so adorable as well. It was fun and I'm so glad we were able to do it!

Another unseasonably cold October day! Little Amelia did pretty good though. I do blame the cold for her not wanting to smile much for me, but that doesn't really matter since she is SO adorable whether she's smiling or not! We went to one of my favorite places, Cantigny Gardens in Wheaton. I could easily spend all day there!

The day I took these photos was so cold! You'd never know it from looking at Ben and Ashley though, they were such good sports. This was my very first maternity session and I was so excited to do it! I am really looking forward to doing more in the future :) Congratulations to these new parents, having a child is so exciting! Thank you for letting me capture this moment in your lives :)

I had a lot of fun making this maternity sash for Ashley to wear! All of the flowers are hand-sewn and I even sculpted the little teal roses out of clay. I love being crafty :)
