This was a fun little event to photograph! These 6 girls have been friends have grown up together and this was their last big event before some of them graduate and head off to college. This was my first time photographing this type of event, and I loved capturing everyone all dressed up!

It threatened to rain all morning, but it held off just long enough for me to photograph these sweet sisters :) Most people seem to think that a cloudy day will ruin their session, but I love cloudy days! The light makes everything looks so soft :)

Becoming a mother was one of the most amazing things that I've experienced. It's exhausting, emotional, intense, joyous, fun, and a new definition of love. I'm so glad that I was able to give SO MANY mommies the opportunity to step out from behind the camera and get into the photos with their kiddos. I captured so many beautiful moments that it was incredibly difficult to narrow them down to only a few of my favorites from each session! And this is only round one :) I'm holding another weekend of minis next week (if the rain doesn't ruin it!). So happy Mother's Day to all these wonderful mothers. I hope you enjoy your weekend, and thank you for letting me capture this time in your lives!
